Quality and professional experience are synonymous with Wilson Funeral Home and its Manager, Wayne L. Bright.

Wayne attended the University of Rhode Island and received an A.S. degree in Funeral Services from the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the Manager of Wilson Funeral Home, a licensed funeral director and embalmer, a former forensic agent, anatomical technician, and a former Principal of the Pughsley-Bright Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida.

Wayne is a member of the Florida Morticians Association, Tampa City Wide Funeral Directors Association, the 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Urban Florida League of Business and the NAACP.

Esther received an AS degree in Funeral Service from Saint Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and serves as the Assistant Manager at Wilson Funeral Home.

Esther is a member of the Florida Morticians Association and Tampa City Wide Funeral Directors Association.

Paulette is a native of Kingston, Jamaica and a resident of Tampa since 1982. She is a former Vice-President of Savings with Community Federal Savings and Loan Association and serves as the Administrative Manager at Wilson Funeral Home.

Paulette is a member of The National Notary Association.

Curtiss Walker Wilson

Curtiss Walker Wilson

Public Relations and Community Involvement

Curtiss received a BS degree from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee Florida. She taught in the Florida public school system for 22 years, before joining her husband, Clarence P. Wilson, at Wilson Funeral Home. Currently, she assists the Wilson Funeral Home in public relations and community involvement.

Among her many civic and professional affiliations, Curtiss is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, the NAACP, and a member of the Morticians Ladies Auxiliary, National, State and Regional levels.
