Beatrice "Sweetie" Jackson
(August 31, 1919 - March 4, 2012)
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. at The House of God, 2909 N. 29th Street,Tampa FL. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL.
Beatrice “Bea” “Sweetie” Jackson born August 31, 1919 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Warren Williams and Marion Stewart- Conyers (Rev. Charles Conyers) She grew up in Tampa/St. Pete FL. Lived in Camden, NJ where she received her RN at Camden County Vocational School in 1961. Later to return to Tampa/St. Pete, FL. the following years, she joined the House of God Tampa church becoming Deaconess and Pres. Of the Usher board for many years. She was a retired RN in 1981 and widower of Leroy C. Jackson in 1984. Bea was a Missionary and Mentor in Jesus Christ our Savior. Sweetie’s Homecoming March 4, 2012 at the age of 92yrs old. Sweetie proceeds in death brothers Charles W. Williams, Charles Conyers, Morris Conyers, Joseph Conyers and Sisters Lorre Tanksley, Lillian Smarts, and Bertha Robinson and her beloved Niece Gloria Thomas. Survivors include her brothers, William Conyers, Nathaniel Conyers (Tanya); sisters, Rebecca Willis, Geneva Reed; cousin, Boxer J.C. Hillary; nephews, Natue Rushadan (Tanya), Carl McKnight (Colleen), Darryl Pittman (Cherry) , Handy Abrahams Jr and Gary Abrahams; nieces, Gail Abrahams, Gwen Abrahams, Sharon Hill and Charlise McKnight; and a host of great nephews and nieces, (Omar, Marion, Lakisha, Natue, Jameel, Andrea, LaShawn, Carla, Exylena, Robert (James), Gerald , Lavonnne, Allen, Patrick and Patricia, proceeds Natue and Wanda, extended family, long time friends and her angels on a line of pearls. Visitation will be held Friday 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL.
