Homegoing celebration for Mr. Demetric D. Henry of Tampa who passed away Saturday, July 8, 2012, will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the True Holiness Church, 3800 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida; Bishop Michael V. Lewis, Sr., Pastor of First Victory Cathedral, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
He leaves fond memories with: two daughters, Shantell Henry and Demetreal Henry; like his children, Anthony Grant, Keonnoa Grant, Maria Grant, Jaimey Grant, Ronnie Grant, and Sandra Grant
Rhianna Miller and children and Dwaine Miller; sisters, Patricia Reed (brother-in-law, Eldridge Reed, preceded him in death), Faheemah Taalib-Din and Monica Banks; brothers, Willie Henry and wife, Deborah Henry; Anthony Henry and wife, Felisa Henry; nieces and nephews who include, Larissa Henry, Ebony Henry and D’Marlo Henry; aunt, Ocie Butler; cousins, Kenny Lyse, Charles Brooks, Charnesa Brooks, Lisa Cooper and DeAndrea Cooper and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Henry was born in Tampa, Florida and a lifetime resident. He was educated in the Public schools of Hillsborough County and attended King Senior High School. He was a Concrete Finisher and a member of First Victory Cathedral.
There will be viewing from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL.
