Renita Lynn Williams

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Renita Lynn Williams who departed this life on June 14, 2012 will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 with Pastor Daryl Flintroy, City of Joy Church of God In Christ, Eulogizing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, FL.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and a sister as well as an aunt to many. Lynn as she was passionately called by all who knew her departed after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Tampa, born on July 31, 1959. She attended Hillsborough County public schools. Lynn also had a career in Nursing as well as Food Service.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Eddie Lee Flowers and Mrs. Ernestine Darkins; a brother, Reginald Bass and a granddaughter, Cedrianna Jackson.

She leaves to rejoice in loving memories: a devoted husband of 30 years, Mr. Joseph A. Williams; 3 sons, Cedric Jackson, Joseph Williams and Jeremiah Livingston; grandchildren, Cedrica Jackson (raised as her daughter); Quientin Woodard, Cratianna Robinson, Feliz’alina Jackson, Cedric Jackson, Jr., Cheddric Jackson, Javis Williams and Jayla Green; siblings, Altamese Smith, Donna Shields, Stephanie Bennett, Twan Dyer and Robin Harris; aunts and uncles, Juanita Jackson (Adopted Mother), Rose Morton (James), Robert Harrison (Nada), Terry Harrison and wife, Barbara Buie all of Tampa; nieces and nephews, Lana Shields, Frank Shields, III, Willie Alexander, Michael Alexander, Lessie Alexander, Altamaria Alexander, Barbara Ghee, Otis Padgett, Warren Padgett, Derrick Johnson, Jeremy Harris, Jasmine Harris, Jessica Singleton and Christopher Singleton; 48 grand nieces and nephews and a host of cousins; godsister, Lisa Hale; close friends, Ronald and Linda Holloway, Renee Rivera, Nichelle Sanders, Rosa Lee Marshall, Louis Quary and Linda Lawson.

There will be a viewing from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Wilson Funeral Home.
