James D. Booker, Jr.

Homegoing celebration for Mr. James D. Booker, Jr. of Tampa, who passed away Monday, July 11, 2012, will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 with Rev. Ronald C. Hubbard, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 2225 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33605.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Booker, Sr. and Irma Lee Booker; son, Jermaine Booker, niece, Evette Booker and sister-in-law, Tammy Gibson-Malcolm.

Fond memories will remain with his wife; Angela C. Johnson Booker; children, Jessica Booker, Ashley Booker, Jamesa Booker; grandchildren, Starr Booker, Trevon Harrell and Aaliyah McCobb; 3 caring and dedicated sisters, Teresa Reddick, Brenda Sallye (Ike) and Barbara Glover; 2 loving brothers, Everett Booker (Patricia) and Terry Booker (Mary Ann); nieces and nephews, LouKisha Sallye, Michael Berrien, Denitra Robinson (Meek), Elcarium Sallye, Marquita Glover (Travis), Devonna Sallye, Everett Booker, Jr., Derrick Booker, Terriell Booker, Katerra Booker and Terry Booker, Jr., mother-in-law, Annette Gibson; father-in-law, Willie Allen McNealy; sisters-in-law, Tajuanna Gibson, Tennille Gibson and Shauna Gibson; brothers-in-law, Terry Gibson (Wendy), Glen Gibson ( Torron), Shannon Gibson and Willie McNealy, Jr. (Vernae); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Mr. Booker was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.

There will be viewing from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Wilson Funeral Home.
