Christine Myrick

Sister Christine Myrick of Tampa will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 3708 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with the Pastor, Reverend W. D. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, FL.

Sister Christine Myrick was born September 19, 1919 in Marianna, FL to the late Priscilla Dillard Myrick and the late Isaiah Kincey.  She was call to rest on Friday, February 3, 2012 after completing her journey here on earth.

Sister Myrick was united with St. Matthew M. B. Church in 1958 under the leadership of Reverend I. Anderson.  She remained a faithful member throughout the years enjoying the services, fellowships, and special programs in which she experienced great joy in participating.   Sister Myrick served diligently with the Home Mission Society and would graciously host the Circle Meetings that rotated from home to home.  She was eager to learn more and more about the Word of God.  When her health failed and she could no longer attend church as often as she desired, she was still interested in finding out about the services and the happenings at the church.

She was preceded in death by her mother:  Priscilla Myrick; father, Isaiah Kincey; son  Phillip Dixon; grandson, Darryl Dixon; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
